Terms of service
These Terms govern your use of the DallasFlooring website and matching service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
The Service
DallasFlooring is a referral platform that matches DFW homeowners and businesses with one independently owned contractor partner for installation, cleaning, restoration, and commercial flooring projects. We are not the contractor. We do not perform the work, we do not employ the crews, and we do not control how an independent contractor runs their job.
We do vet every contractor in our network (see our vetting standard) and we offer a free re-match if your matched contractor fails to deliver — but the contract for the work itself is between you and the contractor.
Eligibility and use
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when submitting a quote request
- Use the Service only for legitimate flooring project inquiries
- Not abuse, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its security
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee particular outcomes, pricing, project timelines, or contractor performance. While we vet partners and remove those who don't meet our standards, we cannot guarantee that every interaction will meet your expectations.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DallasFlooring will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service or your engagement with a matched contractor. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to $100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold DallasFlooring harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing any formal claim, please reach out to legal@dallasflooring.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
